Vocational Education and Training in Schools (VETiS) is an important part of school life at Nyangatjatjara College. This allows senior students to acquire skills and capabilities that can be certified through formal qualifications, and lead to the world of work.
The College is very happy to have been able to establish Partnerships with the NT Department of Education RTO and Employment Pathways Program as well as Voyages Ayers Rock Resort Indigenous Training Department who are supporting the delivery of VETiS and Employment Pathways.
The College kitchen at each Campus is used for the delivery of Certificate I in Hospitality and is treated as a professional workplace.
Pop-up Cafe's have become a special treat for staff and family at each location with the Primary School Students being chief testers of the hot chocolate.
